NANKING CARGO

In 1752 a Dutch export vessel sank in the South China Seas.
The salvage operation in 1985 led by Englishman Mike Hatcher, discovered gold & huge quantities of 18th century Ch'ing Dynasty porcelain. These pieces were sold at auction in 1986, under the collective name of "The Nanking Cargo"
