This left-hand column is wide enough to add any content you wish to keep separate from the main area, or be especially noticeable.

You can replace the demo buttons with the ones appropriate to your site (choose from 20 useful titles in the zip file, or create your own with the blanks included.)

If you add other images, be aware that if they are wider than the table itself, the right-hand side main table will get narrower.

Design Notes:
The page template included in the zip file is what you see here, and consists of nested tables to keep content areas separate. The whole layout will expand and contract automatically to suit different browser resolutions.
