New Linkware...

Finally managed to upload a new linkware set : Scarlet Ribbons

Tom's been home for a few days so we've been a complete family again :)

He's home for Bonfire Night and we're having lots of friends with kids round for the evening. We've a huge bonfire in the field next to the house (we'll have to riddle it well for hedgehogs before we light it!) and Daisy and George are making a 'guy' to put on top. (Caught Daisy going thro' a box of my old clothes and managed to halt the dressing of the guy in a Donna Karen suit. It may not fit at the moment but it might. one day....)

We had a (family) party for Arthur on Hallowe'en too - he arrived home to a dark house with the front door open and strains of 'The Phantom of the Opera' spilling out into the gloom (not perfect but all we could find!)

We decorated the table with dripping candelabra and sprinkled bats, pumpkins, black cats, severed fingers and ghouls, and ate hot dogs, jelly with spiders in and chocolate eyeball cake. Yum :)

Bonfire Night, Christmas and poorly people...

So, it's been a while huh?

We had our Bonfire Night party which went really well. The weather stayed fine, all the food got eaten, and we didn't run out of fireworks - we even had a few left over for the next night.
Which was when I began to feel poorly.
For the next week I had a really nasty flu-bug: hot flushes, cold sweats, and seriously painful sinuses. Dreamt like I've never dreamt before - one morning I woke up crying (yes, crying!) as in my dream I had huge 'bugs eyes' which were stuck to the pillow, and my legs wouldn't move. guess that was the flu stiffness kicking in.
The last couple of days I've felt much better though poor old Tom's got it now and is going to have to find a new doctor tomorrow near his Uni. as he feels sooo bad :( It's not nice being ill at home but when you're away it's horrid.

My Internet connection is still poor but hopefully I'll mange to upload a new Christmas linkware set when I post this (the eternal optimist, that's me!)
I'm having all the family here for Christmas this year which I love, and have already done quite a bit of shopping. Trouble is I hide everything away and then forget what I've got - I found a couple of last year's 'surprises' in a seldom-used drawer yesterday.

Also got fairly (very) hooked on Poser this week - thought I'd never be able to do anything with it (in fact for a couple of days at the beginning I was sinking into a Poser-induced depression.) Stuck at it though and I'm really pleased with the results so I'm uploading a couple of Poser linkware sets made next week :) I suspect that this is another experiment which is going to cost me mucho moolah :) << bad spellig again maybe - not in the dictionary!
