Didn't like the image I put up yesterday
so I've altered it.
I won't be updating here every day during
July - just adding stuff if and when something
noteworthy happens (that will include linkware
updates.)
I'm also redesigning the GL site and adding
lots of new stuff so will be busy with that
for a while, PLUS I'd like to spend some
time with my kids. They finish school on
Friday and we like chilling out together
away from all the regular routines.
Tom, my eldest son, goes to university in
September. I've seen him every day for almost
eighteen years so I'll miss him like crazy
and want to see him as much as possible
before he goes.
Hope you all have a wonderful, sunny Summer,
and DO keep checking back here as I'll keep
popping in too!

Doesn't time fly when you're (not) having
fun?
Been having a lot of trouble with my
tooth again, only getting around 3 hours
sleep before the pain wakes me up.
I went to another dentist today who
after giving me another x-ray (I'll
glow soon,) sent me away with two lots of
antibiotics, a root canal booklet (aaarrrgh!)
and several more appointments to look forward
to.
I go on vacation tomorrow. With four children.
In pain. Lovely.
Another disaster hit last night when the
hard drive on my main pc failed. Luckily
I'd backed up all my own work that
morning but I lost a huge portion of my
resources (fonts, images etc.) which I hadn't
copied as the files were so big. Stupid,
stupid.
Just wish they'd make bigger discs for my
cd writer as 650mb isn't much when you come
to image file sizs, particularly hi-res
stock photos.
When I've paid the (no doubt exorbitant)
bill for a new hard drive, I'm going to
get those guys to sort out my network connection
so I don't need to do all this silly copying
business.
I also lost my address book & all my
e-mails, so if you've written to me &
don't get a reply, please write again!
OK, grumbles over and let's get in the
holiday mood huh?
Like the new look?
I've also made it into a GL
linkware set and as there won't be a
linkware update next week, I put another
set up there too which was inspired by all
the funky Indian-flower power stuff that's
in fashion right now.
One last thing before I fly
away to the sun.
I've removed the tag board 'cos I can't
keep track of what's posted there.
