Thanks for the nice comments and e-mails. I'm fine, just
some things here that need resolving. Actually they've needed
resolving for quite a while (years.) Not a lot I can do right
now so will carry on as normal (?) smiling and being the happy-go-lucky
cheerful person everyone expects.
btw: something freaky happened with the blogsnob ad
code so I've removed it until they get things fixed.

Why oh why did I choose a lizard as a logo????
I'm wanting to redesign the site layout, and not having
used a lizard in the previous couple (and getting
remarks about that!) thought it would be simple to incorporate
one into the new design.

Wrong.
I can't find a groovy enough lizard image anywhere.
I've tried all the stock agencies and places where I have
memberships to no avail.
As soon as you type 'lizard' into a search, it either
throws out b&w anatomical specimens, or way toooo
cutsie li'l critters which I wouldn't put on my kids site.
So the search goes on, with me disliking the troublesome
little reptiles more each day... |

Had a wonderful evening as we went out for dinner with Daisy
& George. There's a lovely little Italian restaurant in
a small village about ten miles away. We parked the car in
the market place and walked the rest of the way. I just love
Summer evening when you can do that in England - we could
still smell the freshly cut grass from all the neat lawns
which had been cut earlier in the day.
Oh, I wish it could be Summer every day...
