I love cats.
At the moment we only have two of them: Mathilda & Fat Maude
[Mathilda's a boy but he likes his name anyway.] A couple of
years ago we also had Harry [another girl] Tigs [my best friend]
& Mabel [Maude & Tilda's brother!]
We've spent the last few months in 'dog mode' with Minnie, and
the poor, fluffy little kitties have had to take a back seat. |
| I spent some quality time with Tilda today
which I think he enjoyed [he's not terribly keen on people]
and then gave him roast chicken for tea. [This post just gets
more & more exciting doesn't it? Talk about putting down
the first thing that comes into your head!!!!!] Actually it
is going somewhere. I was surfing about last night and
came across several cat sites which caught my eye for various
reasons: |
|
|
Bono's
Cyber Cat House : "By Cats, For Cats, About Cats"
The fact that the site has "Ms Ali, confidential
personal executive assistant to bono the cyber cat & webmistress
extrordinaire" made it much more interesting! |
Live
Nude Cats : Frolicking Furry Feline Photos Inside!
You must be 18 months or older to enter this site."
[Had to double check my spelling there! :) ]
Laurel
Burch Fantastic Felines : Original Cat Artwork. If you only
have time to visit one, make this it to see all her amazingly
brilliant artwork - not just cats [tho' I like them best!] |

Vintage horror movie trip to the dentist. The
drill slipped. Enough said. Actually nothing said - I can't
talk [and look like Bela Lugosi] |

Felt a bit
better today after my 10 hour sleep - pretty unusual for a 5 hours
a night girl (5 times a night girl would sound more impressive
huh? ;)
Didn't feel like doing anything heavy so sorted out some files on
my hard drive. Mega dull. Followed up some GL copyright theft sites.
Waste of time.
Cooked, cleaned, shopped for 'The Party' tomorrow and sent e-mail
maps out to parents who can't look things up for themselves [?]
btw: Thank you LaLandra Cali for your lovely message - i
don't know how else to get in touch with you, and you're welcome!

Salvador Dali [11 May 1904 – 23 January 1989]
After studying in Madrid, Dali went to Paris where he joined
the Surrealist movement.
During the war years he moved to the States with his Russian
girfriend Gala, & by the end of the 1940's was one of the
most famous painters in the world.
He returned to Europe where he remained until his death in Figueres,
the town where he was born |

Phew! Weekend houseparty over.
Getting up this morning at seven to cook a full English breakfast
for 16, somehow displelled the myth of the relaxing weekend. Anyway,
tents all down, kids all gone. House a complete tip.
Oh goody - lots of clearing up in the morning. I just love Mondays
don't you?

Phew! Weekend houseparty clearing up done. Sort of.
Spent this afternoon finishing a couple of linkware sets:
Aquaflora
and East
or West, Love is Best
Although they have similar green-blue colour palettes, one is a
traditional floral design, the other fun & funky with a little
animation. Enjoy!
