Forgot to mention yesterday that I'd uploaded this weeks linkware set: Daisy Love [you won't need your shades this week! Just.]

Still beavering away on stuff for the new site, and got quite a lot done today.
I'd forgotten how much work is involved in starting from scratch & also wish that I wasn't such a perfectionist & keep redoing everything over & over.

Tonight, Daisy & I designed invitations for her 15th Birthday Sleepover - they looked pretty cool when we'd finished, and then the printer [which was obviously having a bad day] got hold of them...
She's having about 12 people for a barbecue, then they're camping out in tents. Know what? It'll rain.
I have four kids, whose whose birthdays are all between May & August [Summer somewhere?] and whose ages add up to 54, [which would average around 40 parties,] and we've only had about 5 outside with nice weather.

"Oh to be in England now that Summer's here...."

btw: I got a lovely surprise e-mail yesterday from the amazing kitty saying that she liked my stuff. wow! that is a compliment!

Maintenance & Repair day:
The [fairly] regular check-up by the gynaecologist, followed by the [less] regular trip to the hairdressers
So, I spent most of the day lying on my back or sitting on my but!
I don't mind getting older, it's just such damn hard work keeping everything in place & looking good reasonable not too bad.
I understand what people mean when they say that 'they wish they knew then what they know now' - I'd like that, but with the body I had then!

Arty was poorly today - I couldn't decide if it was a bug or hayfever. The downside to living in the country I suppose.
Added an extra linkware set this week just because....
I was messing around with some scripts and the pixel doodles turned into this: Fin Land

The weekend - yay! but why is it that on weekdays you'd give anything for another half hour in bed, and at the weekend when you could have several, you're up with the birds?
Spent the day doing stuff with the kids [actually, taking the kids places.]
They all have better social lives than me!
Did a little surfing tonight, and found this cute [kids] site: Fluffs Online
I read 'Sherlock Fluff & the Case of the Missing Bunnies' for my bedtime story. Told you my social life was dull!

Updated several older linkware sets - four down, several more to go.
Not much else happening here today: kids, food, work, food - ya know the kinda thing. So instead of boring the pants off you all, I'll go to bed.
See you next week!

You are Fozzie!
Wokka Wokka! You love to make lame jokes. Your sense of humor might be a bit off, but you're a great friend and can always be counted on.

Bank Holiday here in the UK, so the kids & I went out for lunch with my mother. Afterwards, we did some shopping for Daisy & George's 14th & 15th birthdays next week [yes, I had two of them in the same year & they're not twins!]
Daisy got a tent for her 'camping sleepover' on Saturday, and George wanted the 'Lord of the Rings' chess set but we couldn't find one anywhere. Guess that means another shopping trip soon. Life's hard!
