Got my hair cut today and feel like a
new woman (well almost.)
I go about four times a year, and only when I begin to
look like a sheep and can't cope with it anymore. I hate
sitting 'captive' in the chair when I can think of a thousand
and one other things I could be doing. Met my mum for
a bit of shopping, then went home to get my new car which
was being delivered at 2pm. |
It arrived at four which was a shame as we could have 'done'
several more shops! Still, it was worth the wait. Sleek, silver
and shiny.
The kids and I have been whizzing about all over the place tonight,
and Daisy said she felt like we were joy-riding in someone else's
car! We went to the supermarket, and when we came out we had
a small collection of men round it having a nosey. It's a new
model that's only been out for a couple of weeks so I guess
they were interested!
We're going to my parents tomorrow (they live at the seaside)
and we'll go and get fish and chips for lunch (a really 'English'
thing!)
I'm sooo hungry just writing this.

Found this online
hieroglyphs translator a while ago but forgot to add it
her 'til now. Just type in your name and it will generate
the symbols, showing their meaning on mouseover. Here's mine:

Had a lovely Mother's Day with flowers and wonderful home-made
cards, and went out for lunch so I haven't had to cook all
day. Bliss!
Came home and managed to finish and upload this weeks linkware
set Hot
Coffee a day early!

Spent all day tweaking and uploading the
new GL site design.
I'm sure it'll have some nasty bugs/problems that i haven't
found, or missing pages/images/scripts that i've forgotten to
upload.
I really had to compromise on this design [v5] to get everything
working and viewing properly in most browsers and screen resolutions
so be forewarned - it may change again soon!

Interested in the
age-old art of numerology?
You'll love this
site which explains many aspects of several
ancient/new age practices and beliefs.
Generate your own personal 'Yantra' [Magic Square] to
help guide you along the correct paths in life, and create
a lucky Talisman to enhance your overall energy.
Sounds good to me. |

Spent today doing a client project and I was quite pleased
with the result. Sent off a demo copy to them but haven't
had any feedback yet. So, fingers crossed!
The DoD
forum's back online [thanks Leigh & Garry!] and it's been
great catching up with what everyone's been doing over the
last couple of weeks.
